About Me!

Hi there,​

I'm Daniela, and I'm excited to continue in the journalism program as an editor this year! Journalism has truly sparked my curiosity in exploring topics across my community. I've discovered my true passion for uncovering the unique lives and stories of people across the community, whether it be their journey in their career, their passion for the community, or even advocacy for others. My ultimate goal is to spread awareness about communities and topics that are often overlooked, along with publicizing topics with which many may be unfamiliar. I hope that people learn from my stories and are inspired to learn more!

Outside of Journalism,

I am most often found running laps around the track or traversing an undiscovered trail. This year, my cross country team and I won the PAL Championships, followed by 3rd place in the Central Coast Section Championships, where I placed 4th individually. Through this, we qualified to run in the California Division 1 state meet. My passion for community service is evident through my dedication to helping others as a service coordinator. I am most passionate about serving in the adult community center and at other local events. To learn more about me start here.
